The 45’ X 28’ Sceniced and Undecided Railway was featured in GREAT MODEL RAILROADS 1999 and the Nov/Dec 2006 issue of N SCALE RAILROADING. The layout represents Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest with mountains, rivers, waterfalls, ports, a large city, small towns, farms and many industries including a steel mill. It has operating mines, cranes, excavators, rotary dumpers and fireworks. Operations include live loads of coal, woodchips, rocks, etc.

The South Penn Division of the Northern Central Railroad is a 1954 era point to point HO model railroad that runs from Camp Hill to Connellsville Pa.  1954 and the layout is 1600 sq ft with multiple decks and 390 feet of track on the main level. The layout features both steam and early diesel and can be run with either Digitrax or NCE DCC. Staging at each end and all lower level track is in with scenery completed in several key areas. One feature of my layout On open house days, children are encouraged to run a train on the continuous run connection. All trains feature sound equipped locomotives and the children follow the train using a radio throttle for the entire run which takes about 15 minutes each lap.

Michael's Mayfair Electric is a free lance O scale model trolley layout constructed to East Penn Traction Club module standards. The layout is a work in progress and features operating overhead and hand laid track throughout. The trolley layout is fully automated allowing multiple trolleys to safely operate over different routes simultaneously.

The Kinzua Division layout is a continuous run, two track mainline and a branch line that serves the round house and diesel servicing. The main industry trackside is an oil refinery and a TOFC terminal. 95% of all turnouts are solenoid switch machines that are wired remotely. The railroad has a manual PRR position light signal system with no automated blocks. It is an autumn setting in the steam/diesel transition era.

Joe's Northeast Lines is a Proto Freelanced Short line that operates from Pittsburgh, Pa. to Cincinnati, Ohio. It is an operating model railroad, that uses card waybill for train movement. The railroad uses Easy DCC with locomotives having sound. Scenery is 80% done. 27 Trains are operated in a three hour session.

This O27 scale layout is a father and son project set in the modern era showcasing the Western Maryland Railway. The scenery is 90% complete and features a realistic automobile accident scene and a detailed small beach scene.
