Moylan's Oak Valley PRR layout is a Digitrax controlled, steam/diesel
transition layout set in Eastern PA with local Deptford community
names. The layout scenery is complete and highly detailed. On the
layout, PRR interchanges with Lehigh Valley and Reading, and has
numerous staging tracks.

The 45’ X
28’ Sceniced and Undecided Railway was featured in GREAT MODEL
RAILROADS 1999 and the Nov/Dec 2006 issue of N SCALE RAILROADING. The
layout represents Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest with
mountains, rivers, waterfalls, ports, a large city, small towns, farms
and many industries including a steel mill. It has operating mines,
cranes, excavators, rotary dumpers and fireworks. Operations include
live loads of coal, woodchips, rocks, etc.

Michael's
Mayfair Electric is a free lance O scale model trolley layout
constructed to East Penn Traction Club module standards. The layout is
a work in progress and features operating overhead and hand laid track

Paul's NCE
DCC controlled HO scale Western Maryland Ry. layout is based on the
"Pennsylvania Railroad Schuylkill Division" from a John Armstrong book
and was operated as a PRR Pittsburgh Region 1955 layout for several
years. It was then converted to the Western Maryland Ry. from
Hagerstown to Connellsville and the Thomas Sub., also 1955. The era
then changed to 1971. Several scratch-built coal mines by the late
Alden Smith are featured. Paul's freelanced short line started in his
teenage years, the Pennsylvania Northern R.R., was recently
incorporated into the layout, running from an interchange in Cumberland
, MD with the WM to Philipsburg, PA.s

Bob's 1978
Conemaugh Line represents a portion of Conrail’s operation in western
PA diverging from Conrail’s Pittsburgh Line near Johnstown, and
rejoining Conrail’s Ft Wayne Line in Pittsburgh. The modeled portion is
from Kiski Yard near Freeport to Federal Street in Pittsburgh. Staging
extends this area eastward to Johnstown PA, westward through Pittsburgh
to Conway Yard, and also westward to Butler, and northward to
Kittanning. Train control is by Digitrax, Signals are virtual using
android tablets and JMRI signal logic with dispatch by a JMRI CTC panel.

Jann's layout is 10 X 38 ft and has 3 levels. It can operate 9-10
trains simultaneously using Lionel TMCC, including passenger, freight,

buttons for visitors.

Bob's
layout is basee on Southern Pacific and Santa Fe Railroads from Los
Angeles to Bakersfield CA in the 1953 to 1954 time period. It is a
point to point layout with reverse loops at each end of the track. The
layout consists of major yards at both ends of the railroad and
trackage over the Tehachapi Loop in Southern California. Scenery
includes desert, mountains, farm land, and urban areas. 2 Key focal
points of the layout are Los Angeles Union Passenger Terminal (LAUPT)
and Tehachapi Loop. The railroad is approximately 85% complete with 90%
of the track work completed. When completed the layout will consist of
1200 feet of track of which approximately 550 feet is main line.

The
2-level, 2-room layout profiles CSX from Cumberland, MD to
Connellsville, PA over Sand Patch. The era depicted is in the early
2000's right after the Conrail split. Many of the fallen flag
railroads around that timeframe are represented with foreign power and
rolling stock. The focal point is the large Cumberland yard and is
supported by a number of staging tracks to represent prototypic traffic
moved on this busy double tracked line. The operating system is NCE and
track is code 55. Signature scenes include downtown Cumberland,
Narrows, Hyndman, Rockwood, and Sand Patch. Access to the basement
layout is via the backyard.

This fictional short line railroad provides freight
service through the rolling hills of MD. Housed in an 8' x 10' shed,
the layout stretches approximately 44 feet in length across multiple
levels with Digitrax controlled locomotives and turnouts. It is a work
in progress, with approximately 25% of the scenery completed. Visitors
will find a mix of industrial, rural, and residential scenes already
taking shape along the freight line.
Please note that access to the shed requires a short walk through grass
and one step up to enter. And don't worry if the weather is chilly, the
heat will be on!

running both steam and diesel. The Deer Creek & Susquehanna runs in
eastern Maryland and is based upon the the Maryland & Pennsylvania
Railroad. The model railroad features beautiful trackwork and has
significantly more of the scenery complete.

Bill’s DCC-powered HO scale 24’ x 40’ West Virginia
mountain branch railroad that is a loose rendition of the Baltimore and
Ohio spur that wound its way north and south through the mountains of
central West Virginia from 1950-1955. The layout, started in 2006 and
when completed will run from Grafton, MD to Huntington, WV. Signaling
will be incorporated, and all of the mainline turn outs, as well as all
train movements around the layout will be coordinated by tower
operators and a dispatcher for operating sessions.
